Here, we offer a public space for meeting and exchange that is independent, and which may (should ?) take sides while remaining unbiased and free of charge. This is an opportunity to publish projects, conferences, and ideas.
We claim a perhaps naïve, but as broad as possible perspective on our era and civilization. For us, "public" means open, belonging to everyone and anyone.
We are an association of honest citizens with the ambition of improving society. Subversion is not our goal, but it may be a means at times. We are not proselytizers. The word "militant" includes the word "military," and we do not wish to mobilize. Society is already mobilized enough ...
We also aim to allow for the approach of fundamental texts, and to enable a followed and archived debate.
Debate implies differences : there may be contradictions between several publications, and we do not adhere to a particular ideology. Our only master is the pursuit of truth, which does not always mean objectivity. We demand freedom of opinion. Criticism is our friend and corruption our enemy. Our opinions result from what life teaches us. They do not precede it, and we publish information that makes us change our minds.
Research cannot be militant. If it can influence public decision-making, that is not its purpose. It must raise more questions than it answers.
In the abundance that characterizes our world, and which renders our ownership reflexes obsolete, we claim to filter and synthesize thought rather than adding to the ambient noise.
